So Friday marks what could be a very important day for me. It was my last day in the employ of Bamboo but was my first day in the employ of myself for Markd!

I spent a few hours tinkering with the new (alpha release) version of React which includes the new React Hooks feature. I wanted to experiment with it in a semi-realistic environment (not CodeSandbox). I have built a few chrome extensions in the past and I knew the challenges well so I thought it would be a good scenario to challenge React Hooks and see what it can do.

I totally forgot to post about the various talks I gave this year so I thought I would take a few minutes and post about them.

Its been quite some time since my original post on The Sleeping Headphones Saga so I thought it was time I updated with my current situation my my experiments since then.

I love the mix-streaming service Mixcloud but its unfriendly user-interface was really starting to bug me so I whipped up this little tool to help.

In the spirit of repeating myself. I have decided to rewrite another one of my chrome extensions.

After my many hard-learnt-lessons building a Smart Mirror the past few months, I decided it might be a good idea to share some of those lessons with others in the community.

Building the frame and assembling the hardware for my Smart Mirror was a tough but fun journey. But now its time for what im good at, the software.

So I decided to build a Smart Mirror as a hobby project. I knew that I could handle the software side of thing but building a frame and wiring the electronics up was going to be a whole new adventure.
